MTV VMAs 2014: Blue Ivy Carter dances, sings along while mom Beyoncé performs

Beyoncé and Jay Z's adorable toddler stole the limelight away from her famous mother's flawless performance during Sunday night's Video Music Awards.

Cameras often cut to the tot as she sat on her rapper dad's lap, dancing and singing along to the catchy music.

Blue Ivy, 2, showed off her diva moves, some of which even surprised Jay Z, as she danced along to Beyoncé's "Flawless" and "Drunk in Love."

Beyoncé’s daughter Blue Ivy cheered on as she accepted the Village Vanguard award after performing songs from her latest album. Husband Jay Z called his wife the ‘greatest living entertainer.’

When it was time for the pop star, 32, to accept her coveted Village Vanguard award, she shared the happy moment with her family. Jay Z, 44, called Beyoncé the "greatest living entertainer" in the world, and Blue clapped while exclaiming, "Yay, mommy!"

The couple usually keeps appearances by their daughter to a minimum, but Sunday night Blue Ivy was free to ham it up for the cameras.

Overcome with emotion — and getting a kiss from her husband and daughter on stage — Beyoncé couldn't help but shed a few tears.

"I have nothing to say," she said. "But I'm full of gratitude."
